Fancy having a go at making your very own Worzel Gummidge or Aunt Sally to enter in this year’s Meltham Scarecrow Festival?
There is no theme for this year’s event which is taking place on Monday, May 6, 10am – 4pm. Programmes including a trail map so you can locate all the curious home-made creatures are only £1 from the church hall on the day. The trail starts at the church hall.
Organised by Meltham Over 60s, refreshments are available and there is also a children’s scarecrow poster competition taking place beforehand too. The winning entry will be used on the front of the programme.
If you fancy entering your own scarecrow, then these should be delivered to Meltham Church Hall on Sunday, May 5, between 1pm and 4pm. Good luck!
