Fabulous Few Days in Holmfirth

Just a quick word to thank you to everyone in Holmfirth for a superb few days break exploring the Pennines. Although we sadly missed your folk event by a few days, we had a lovely stay at a little bed and breakfast in the town and we made to feel most welcome. Our highlight was getting up for an early breakfast before hiking across the tops, using a very helpful guide book from the Tourist shop nearby. We both felt much better for our break, particularly the enjoyable evening meal at the Farmers’ Arms (plus great beers) just a walk up the hill, which we found quite by chance. We will be up to Holmfirth again later in the summer, and looking forward to a winter break when we can enjoy the Pennine snow. Thanks for the information on the site and also the videos which were really inspiring.
