Snow Sunday in Holmfirth

More snow fell across the Holme Valley overnight (Sunday, Feb 21) and we were pleased to receive the usual flow of snow-watch emails from local residents reporting tricky roads and conditions in Hade Edge, New Mill and Digley Reservoir.
No further heavy falls are forecast today, hopefully, it will all have gone by tomorrow when residents have to get to work, and the kids go back to school following the half term holiday.
Many thanks for all the postive messages following publication of our aerial snow shot of Holmfirth in January, many were suitable impressed. Unfortunately we have no further ones of Holmfirth, however we are delighted to feature the one above taken the very same day of our famous landmark - Emley Moor TV Mast.
