Gardening Expert Returns to Brockholes

Holme Valley gardeners will be able to pick up some seasonal tips with the return of popular Radio Leeds gardening expert, Joe Maiden, (pictured left) to Brockholes Village Hall on the evening of Wednesday 3rd. March.
Joe will be sharing his knowledge of a life spent as a gardener and nursery- man and provide a number of tips in time for spring time planting. The evening will provide a chance for the audience to ask Joe’s advice on the care and growing of plants and Joe will have with him a wide range of plants to demonstrate his green-fingered skills.
This will be Joe’s fourth visit to Brockholes where he has previously entertained a full house of eager amateurs.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets, costing £4, are available at Brockholes village post office or by phoning Huddersfield 663270.
