Horse Watch for Holme Valley?

Police Community Support Officer Alison Midgley, based at Holmfirth Police Station, is organising a ‘ Horse Watch ‘ for the Valleys area. Anyone involved with riding clubs or stables or who owns a horse and wishes to find out more about the scheme, please contact Alison direct on 01484 436855, or visit the local Neighbourhood Policing Team web page.

Local officers report an increase in thefts of stone in and around The Valleys area over the last few months, if you see any unusual activity and you believe that stone is being stolen, you are asked to call 999, as a crime is in progress. Whilst the Police arrive at the scene, try and obtain the details of the vehicle involved, colour, make and the registration if possible.
